Be responsive to student questions and available for student support.
Use appropriate technology to enhance learning.
Assess learning outcomes and adapt curriculum to meet learning objectives.
Demonstrate insight and encouragement in working with diverse student populations, especially students traditionally underrepresented in higher education.
Provide appropriate academic advising to students to support timely degree completion.
Be innovative in the presentation of lectures and hands-on learning activities that achieve learning outcomes.
Provide timely feedback on students’ assignments and exams throughout each semester; and,
Be accountable to meet the needs of the Department and the College, including timely submission of grades and other required materials.

The successful candidate will be qualified to teach some of the following classes:

CIS-125 Fundamentals of Computer Information Systems
CIS-130 Foundations of the Internet
CIS-170 Network Fundamentals
CIS-190 Tech Support Fundamentals
CIS-231 Advanced Web Servers
CIS-270 Routing & Switching
CIS-286 Systems Analysis and Design
CYB-101 Computer Forensics & Security
CYB-250 Server Administration
CSC-110 Program Design & Development (Introductory C++)
CSC-111 Fundamentals of Computing I (Java)
CSC-112 Fundamentals of Computing II (Java)
Other technical courses as necessary

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

For appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or closely-allied field from an accredited college or university of foreign equivalency, 15 credit hours of relevant graduate-level courses, and (5) five years of full-time employment in subject area or closely allied field

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or closely allied field from an accredited college or university of foreign equivalency, with an industry-recognized professional license or certification, and (3) three years of full-time employment in subject area or closely allied field

OR

Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or closely allied field from an accredited college or university of foreign equivalency and (3) three years of full-time employment in subject area or closely allied field

OR

Doctorate in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or closely allied field from an accredited college or university of foreign equivalency,
